Some recent dragon art I’ve been working on. Two of them are Vietnamese style, have to support my roots. :)

Something I noticed recently was there isn’t a whole lot of Vietnamese dragon art out there (online anyway) and being Vietnamese I wanted to contribute. The features on this dragon are based on a lot of the statues you see throughout Vietnam.
I know a lot of artists stick to a certain style or subject matter but personally I like the shotgun approach and enjoy painting a variety of things. You’ll see things like Fan art, a woman dancing in a red dress, ,cartoons, flowers, animals, a beach scene and even the occasional dragon. The thing that appeals to me about painting dragons is the fact that they can be truly original in design and execution.
